Especially for beginners, I would recommend you Thailand as a Scuba Diving spot. In Thailand, you can get the cheapest Scuba certifications in the world. For instance, one will cost you around 350€. Also, the country, in general, is a very cheap destination. Hotels, food, and any type of activity in Thailand are more than affordable. Scuba Diving spots like the Surin or Similan Islands are the ideal places for beginners and experts. Furthermore, underwater you get the chance to see turtles, “Nemos”, or little sharks.

2. Scuba diving spots: Great Barrier Reef, Australia

The Great Blue Hole in Belize is one of the most spectacular dive sites in the world. As you might have guessed from its name, it is circular and measures over 300 meters in diameter. On the other hand, it is 125 meters deep, which makes it a good spot for beginners too. Furthermore, the crystal clear water offers the chance to see reef sharks, bull sharks, and hammerheads.

The Gili Islands are located off the northwest coast of Lombok, Indonesia. Recently, the Gili Islands became a popular diving spot. Motorized traffic is forbidden on the island. You can reach everything on foot, by bike, or the famous horse-drawn carriage.
